Interstate prides itself on being a great place to work, and has taken great strides to work towards a diverse and rich work force. Finding quality, skilled, professional roofers can be a challenge, so Interstate has looked toward the growing Hispanic community and taken the lead in providing a diverse and open company culture. At least half of the foreman and superintendents are bilingual or in the process of becoming bilingual.

Interstate also offers educational assistance for employees who want to further their formal education as it relates to their career at Interstate. This includes English or Spanish classes for those who want to be bi-lingual.
